The Samsung SM225MD is a 22″ 1680 x 1050 LCD monitor and TV. It contains an analogue and digital TV tuner and is HD Ready. Argos are currently selling the monitor for £300. Samsung seem to have a mess of model numbers with several product of almost the same specification and no structured product line.

BBC Freesat is go for launch.
Tuesday, February 27th, 2007The BBC Trust have given their backing to BBC Freesat. As part of the BBC’s responsibility to provide help with the digital switch over, the suggestion is to have a subscription free service available before analogue switch off. There is also the suggestion that the system should be able to take High Definition content or at least be ready for it in the future. Consultation on the proposals runs until 28th March 2007.
