T-Mobile Web’n’Walk’n’Squint

T-mobile Web n WalkThe Web’n'Walk package from T-mobile seems very good value, certainly the best in the UK.  However, there is very heaving image compression noticeable when using the data modem and browsing on a laptop.

A work around is available here, and involves the installation of the Modify Headers plugin, for those using Firefox.

Facebook on the Map

Having joined Facebook.com and got past the initial hype, I feel it is time to work out what else can be achieved. The Facebook UK Friends Plotter is amusing for a little while (but only if you are a fellow map geek). There are loads of little tweaks out there, certainly if using greasemonkey. If you want to remove the “is” from your status, it is easily done.

Firefox 2.0

Although not released until later, Firefox 2.0 appears to be available for download now. If it doesn’t do all the things you hoped for, then make a request for Firefox 3.0 in the brainstorming wiki.
